One of the key aspects of the original Q Timex straps and bracelets is that they flare out to meet the case. Sure, you can install any 18mm lug-width strap, but it will look too narrow on a Q Timex. StrapHabit's TQ18 replacement bracelets for Q Timex fit the popular retro-style case perfectly. They are 18mm wide to fit the Q's narrow lugs but flare out to 21mm where they meet the case. Then taper back to 18mm at the buckle.
They are made of stainless steel with split-pin removable links. The clasp is deployant with a safety latch and dual push buttons.
They include free quick-release spring bars for easy, tool-free strap changes.

Lovely BOR steel bracelet for Timex Q GMT. Product exactly as described and there was an additional import charge to Saudi. UPS courier didn't track very well online and they handed over the delivery to local Saudi Post who then asked for an additional charge for door to door delivery. Easier for me to just go to mail centre for pick up, rather than "faff.”
As it happens with Straphabit, this bracelet is very well made and at the same time, as it is actually a 7-link bracelet, it is extremely comfortable on the wrist. The best thing on this bracelet is of course the fact that it fits any watch with 18mm flat end links and due to the fact that outter links are 20mm, make the tapering from watch case to bracelet completely smooth. I paired this bracelet with my Lorier Safari and it works extremelly well!
Since I ordered a Timex Q Chronograph with a leather strap, I wanted to have an additional strap to change out, specially a steel band. I first found on eBay a strap from China that was about $8. However, it wasn't quick release, but instead, spring bars. I wore that for about 5-6 months until I recently ordered this replacement band from StapHabit. The reason why was because I noticed that the spring bars on the eBay strap started to rust weirdly, and I never had any rusting on any of my other watches. I do clean my watches when needed, and I store them in a watch box. I also have a mini watch case for traveling. Once I changed out the old steel eBay band for the new StapHabit one, I was instantly amazed on the quality. It has good weight (the eBay one was extremely light and thin), and it looks really good. The old eBay replacement band was like a type of band for those steel mesh watches where it clips and locks on to secure the fit. Overall, I'm glad I replaced the eBay band for the StrapHabit one, because it's sure to last, and is sure a great strap every time I look at it. One more thing to add is that the customer service is amazing with this brand!
This significantly reduces the hairs pulled on the stock strap. Way more comfy, and looks amazing.
